How do you find these songs that so perfectly work in the situations? I've not heard the original to this before, it's uncanny how your parody just sort of "slides into place"!

I'm not sure, but perhaps that movie-teaser photo inspired me in the back of my mind to search for the right song, and there it was. The way that the Old Tomnoddy, Attercop / Lazy Lob and Crazy Cob just happened to fit the rhythm/meter was a lucky coincidence.
Generally, reflecting on the list of parodies I've posted, I'm beginning to think many songs "slide into place" for re-telling, or paying tribute to, Tolkien's works b/c they are so rich and deep, and cover many universally applicable themes. There are so many quotable lines, including from the songs/poems within the stories.
