Thorin Poster Can't Post

The floodgates are opening.

We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.

Thanks, Arannir. Liking it much more better [In reply to] Can't Post

Yeah... [In reply to] Can't Post

... though I do have to say that it would have been far more effective - imho - to release the banners day-by-day and the character posters on one day. They are simply much more exciting for people - especially those not that invested.

But, whatever... at least stuff is happening now ;)

What would be cool is a huge panorama (maybe stylized) of the battle-field or burning Lake-town announcing the trailer release.

4 Details that are AMAZING! [In reply to] Can't Post

1. Thorin's HAIR seems to be Gray-ing Fast!
As people get under tremendous STESS
often their Hair starts to grey? Which would make perfect sense
seeing HOW a Dwarve'zz Persona is SSOoo.. tied up in the
Hair (PUN intended)...Look closely at the Fall of hair on our left.

2. The Apparatus that Held THE Arkenstone above his Head
is just barely shown...YET the Crumbling Column that held it
is Slashed with Smaug's Claw marks. Which is WAyCOOL
since, Smaug had no respect for their Architecture.

OPINION: Thorin will reach up there at some time..
Caress it and maybe give some speech, about how
this is The Only Thing he is really interested in?

3. The Royal Robe? is likely his Father's? ..
That Thrain should have worn, when he
was crowned KING..but never was?

Finding these things after Smaug is dead
should be quite emotional for us! In particular
Thorin, Balin & Dwalinzz living Quarterzz.

Bom's sure Balin will cry again...

4. He is staring DOWN in Thought, looking at
an amazing Shield (The Design of which is perplexing)
Shouldn't this Shield have the Same motif as the
inscription above the Hidden Door?

The Arkenstone sending out RAYS OF LIGHT?

This Image has been used in Marketing,
for editions of these films.

Jus' some Geeky observations...so
What do you think
about
bom's thoughtzz?

Crazy

Agree - zzzzzzz - where is a nice new dwarf-themed poster? [In reply to] Can't Post

At this point, the neglected Company I think desperately needs its own PR and it might be nice to remind the audience of that. Seeing as there was a time when that mattered and all Unimpressed

It's just hard for me to get excited over an image crop that probably most people on TORn could do themselves.

*Sigh*.

What is that section against his back? [In reply to] Can't Post

It kind of looks like a column of torn fabric, or torn rock...

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.
