not like I am some big expert. But if a bunch of images are handed to me, in the same resolution, and I have my filters or whatever set up, I can just chunk them out and save/export, pretty fast. Even easier if I am just cropping and slapping text on with a drop shadow. And in certain cases you can just run a batch job.
The time would come in re having to sort through and choose material, or develop a collage like the DOS poster, or develop original artwork - some of the Deviant Art artists mention the hours it takes to do a given piece.
It's not that I am not appreciative, but some of the kiddie books, fans, and professional artists have put out work that shows real effort and care - and I really was hoping, at the last, to see imagery of the quality of the AUJ series which I very much love and thinks evokes the characters so well. Photographed by a master, too!

If I had this poster my wall, the only thing it would do for me is make me burst into tears. I would rather have one of him, Fili and Kili in battle mode like on the most recent tapestry. Of course, I could always opt for the Thorin character poster, I have no problem with that one.
