Nameless Movie Elves Appreciation Can't Post

From Kili's musician duo in Imladris

to the masked Elven guards of Mirkwood Heart

And everyone else not credited with a name, the nameless Elves of TH deserve a shoutout Smile
(Source. There's more here too, and includes LotR nameless Elves as well)

Fan of both books and movies. Oh, and it seems I have severely misnamed myself... for the moment.

The armour for those Mirkwood guards is stunning. They looked CGI in the trailer when we saw them get out they're swords (were they digital?).

Sorry I wasn't clear [In reply to] Can't Post

I wasn't referring to that one, although I thought and still think that one was digital too (especially because it gets jumped on by an Orc) and it. I meant the close up of the guards on the bridge, who take their out and hold their swords.

Found it:

Looking at it now, I may change my mind, I think it was because the shot was so brief on the trailer I couldn't see it properly.

Training for a nice sine wave effect - for BOFA?

and Mirkwood:

And of course a moment of respect for all the elves that were killed (probably) when Bolg showed up - that nasty moment when he brings his mace down *wince*. The movie doesn't show it, but imagine Thranduil is really, really po'd at the loss of his elves. One thing that strikes me, looks like these extras train hard!

Ah, thanks for the clarification [In reply to] Can't Post

Also, I found a youtube of the dwarf-escape/orc ambush. It's pretty quick but the same Elves are right at the beginning.

Good point! Pretty sure the orc beheading had an element of tit for tat, aside from the intimation of history. Smile

Re the dwarf escape/orc ambush, I am sure the sine-wave training these Elves are doing will be nothing to the extra drills the border guards had to do for the lapse in security that allowed the orcs to not only get so near but actually cross over the walls and take out elves with impunity.

The forest patrol strutting the swag (before the grounding takes effect?)

More of the border patrol

More advance appreciation I guess for another BotFA(?) Elf... Smile

For balance, Rivendell elves!
