It was tough to pick out the PJ cameo in AUJ. Does anyone know if Alan Lee or others from the production staff appeared as dwarves or hobbits in the sequences? Also, let's make some guess as to where PJ will show up in DOS. I'm guessing drunk Lake Town Barge Rafter #5 in the background behind Bard at the bridge to Laketown. He might even have sausages or a vegetable in one hand.

Alan Lee can be seen in a makeup chair in one of the vlogs, so probably a cameo in film 2 or 3. Tami Lane mentioned cameoing as an Erebor refugee (in a scene with 100 extras), so hopefully something we'll see in the extended edition.

...exactly is PJ's cameo? I've seen AUJ 4 times (I know, I know, but I plan on owning it on the 19th!), and I never spotted him...

Link It's as the Dwarves flee Erebor, and just as Thorin sees Thranduil.

...is in the scene of Thorin standing on the mountain ridge gesturing with his arm. I think that was the day they dropped them off with a pack of sandwiches and took aerial shots all day. I suppose it makes sense to double your crew as extras under those circumstances. She said she's the blond with poofy hair.

...one of the dwarves striding behind the diamond-sorters. Hey, I wonder if that's the 'carrot' connection? Carrot/carat?

He could be an Elf... type-wise... couldn't he? :D

He actually should be... the way he geeks out in one of his shows about the heritage of Galadriel is amazing.

I can't find any pictures, but when he's introduced early in the movie ("Thror ruled with his son and his grandson" or something like that) he can be seen with a tattoo on his forehead, and the dwarf behind the diamond-sorters has the same one.
