In the first image it looks to me like PJ is the Dwarf walking behind Thror and the Dwarves working with the jewels.
In the second image he could be the Dwarf on the far left holding the box, next to Thorin.
Unfortunately the pictures are rather low quality, so it's hard to tell.
He could also play one of the Dwarves fleeing Erebor, but I have missed that each time I have seen the film, and I can't find an image of it, sorry!

looks like PJ.
I've tried to spot him on my second viewing of the movie but I didn't. Thing are going too fast in the prologue

Yes....I saw him twice..
...but don't feel bad about not spotting him....it took me seven times seeing the film before I finally spotted him....LOL

I had read that people thought it was PJ so I watched closely the last time
and I'm pretty sure it's Thrain walking behind Thror in that scene, you can
see some of his tattoos in his forehead.
As mentioned in other posts PJ is a dwarf running out from Erebor after
Smaug attacks. He runs in front of Thorin looking back over his shoulder.

the audience cant tell its him under all the prostetics. in the LOTR movies you can itell its Pete ( even the cosair). This cameo is weak sauce. the reason for a cameo is u recognize the person.
