I'd ask what was on Kili's mind when the Company arrives in Rivendell. He looks positively awestruck at Lindir and then again at Elrond and the other Elves on horseback. I believe there is something going on there different from the other Dwarves and I would just like to know what it is.

Why on earth did it take you so long to twig that Bilbo's ring of invisibility was the One Ring? The Great Rings belonged to either the Dwarves, Elves or Men - all of which were accounted for - plus the One Ring (lost). You knew Bilbo's ring was a Great Ring ... and it took you how many decades to put it all together?
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. To Thee humbly do I pray: Any chance I could have, and keep, a copy of the Music of the Ainur sheet music? For piano and guitar, with EZ chords and lyrics please, if at all transcribable for mortal mouths and instruments? Or if not printed then perhaps an mp3, I have a thumb drive for it. Also I have several cloud drive accounts if that helps. In the name of the Lord Iluvatar, the Valar, and the Maiar, Amen.

The correct question i believe is, why did he become so alienated from his peers that lead to his fall from grace. Or why he embraced an egotism that would be so destructive?

Are you OK? Saw LOTR, missed you in that. Sign of life please? I shouldn't worry, I know you're far more powerful and resilient than meets the eye. But in FOTR, Gandalf has your staff (different crystal though). Why didn't you keep your staff, did you pick up a new one? Can I see it? P.S. lending staff to Gandalf might not be such a good idea if you want it back. *cough cough Durin's Bane cough cough Witch King ROTK:EE cough cough*

Are you and the rest of your Imladris locals vegetarian? How strict? And if so, since when, and what is your motivation? Are you aware that the Mirkwood Silvans have been enjoying meats in their diet? Do you approve/disapprove? Or did you feed Thorin & Co green food on purpose? Cuz that would be pretty funny! . But then they trashed your furniture afterward. Worth it though, right?????

Good Job, everyone! Truly, I'm quite impressed, for that wasn't a very easy question to answer. Alas, the hardest questions to answer are not those which are complicated, but those which have no right or wrong answer. -Greetings from the Shire, Erriadair

Oh, lots of possibilities! A few I can think of right off the bat: to Bilbo (AUJ): What the heck is "conkers"? to Legolas: Did you leave your compass at home? to Thorin: When you got lost (twice) trying to find Bag End, did you ask someone for directions or did you just wander around aimlessly? That's a scene I'd love to see!!

That would be funny. My guess is that he probably did not ask anyone because his stubbornness and pride would never have let him.

I would ask Gandalf why he originally had not thought he was worthy of being an Istari since he showed that he was a marvelous choice for that role. I would also get a bunch of gold-plated rings and show them to Gollum just for the sake of seeing what he would do.

Why didn't you give counsel to the members of the Fellowship? They were in need of it, especially with the loss of Gandalf. Also, how did you make that Mirror, and how often do you use it, and who else has access to it? To Elrond: are all races welcome to visit you at any time, and more specifically, are Dwarves allowed to use Rivendell as a stopover like Bree? To Saruman: where did you go when you died? To Frodo: what was your life like in Valinor? To Gollum: any regrets?
