This one riffs on everything. I mean everything. Someone has really done their online homework.

I would be hard pressed to write a synopsis. It was a long piece. But you're right. It had everything and the kitchen sink in there. The premise is that PJ is splitting the last two movies of the trilogy into 18 movies. I'm not sure if it will make it online but they said skits were available on iTunes (I'm sure for a fee). Now the question is... did the writers of this piece lurk on these boards! haha The Hobbit 4: Apple Maps, An Unexpected Detour. Hobbit 10: The Elf Queen Tries To Pick An Outfit The Hobbit 11: Trying to Split a Complicated Dinner Bill

My favorite was "The dwarves try to assemble an Ikea dresser". Although apple maps was good, too.

Sorry, was I shouting? Hilarious, thanks for sharing!!
There it is: dwarves are not heroes, but calculating folk with a great idea of the value of money; some are tricky and treacherous and pretty bad lots; some are not, but are decent enough people like Thorin and Company, if you don't expect too much.

My friend DVR'ed it, and there was another "movie" about "Dwarves singing more songs", and showed Thorin and Bombur singing Billy Joel's "For the longest time".

But you're right.. I remember the Billy Joel song, now. I knew it was at least in some ways different. During the broadcast I saw (East Coast time zone), there was a moment when the screen had a title something like "The Hobbit: 8" and the narrator said, "The Hobbit: 10". Lots of people on Twitter caught that. That was fixed for the uploaded video. We also had a lot of moments when the video stopped playing and some people on Twitter commented that it sounded like the in house audience was experiencing those glitches, not just the at home audience. Perhaps there was something corrupt with the last part of the video and they just chopped it off. Or maybe they didn't have rights to upload the Billy Joel song. Rights for that kind of stuff can get complicated.

Radagast: This is excellent pipe-weed! What do you call it? Gandalf: Old Toby...the finest weed in the Southfarthing! Did I tell you that Bilbo once blew a smoke ring right in my face? Radagast: No! What did you do? Smack him upside the head for his audacity? Gandalf: No, I did something better. I sent him on an adventure.

Thanks Lissuin. :)
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.
