Theme song for The Hobbit

Hello! I might have brought this up before, but I don't really remember, so here it goes. We have all been talking about Peter Jackson as the director of The Hobbit, for everyone that means WETA, McKellen, Serkis, Weaving, Howe, Lee and Howard Shore. Those are given for us, but... who will do the theme song? Enya did a beautiful job for The Fellowship, but I wasn't all that thrilled by Gollum's Song and Into the West. I always thought ERA would have made a great theme song for Middle Earth. So I would say ERA for The Hobbit. If there are two movies, well, I'd go with ERA for the second. Just imagine the voices singing during the Battle of the Five Armies or as Bilbo enters Erebor and sees Smaug! I'd have some trouble for choosing the other performer... ideas?
Let it be heard! We want Jackson for The Hobbit!

...ERA meant Equal Rights Amendment. What does it mean now?

...that does "new-age" music. They like to have gregorain chant themes, mixed with rock rhythms (though not too heavy). They sound great. They rely mainly on their mighty choir and they have that kind of medieval feel to them that I think would be appropriate for Middle Earth, given what Enya has already done, of course. You should look for a couple of songs: Ameno and The Mass. They are quite good, and easy to listen to.

I gave a listen since I often say I like folk/tradtional music on the rocks. It wasn't quite to my taste. A little to DJ mix for me although I love Garmarna who's put some nice modern twists on old music: Garmarna does Hildegard von Bingen Garmarna's myspace this has nothing to do with the Hobbit.

it's a band, nowadays. My kids always laugh when I roll my eyes if they say something is "tight". How was I to know it now means "cool" and not that something wasn't loose enough?
