At an advanced screening you get to watch the film before it officially opens for the general public [In reply to]	Can't Post

I presume this is a day or two before it opens. Normally they're very exclusive Smile

That's how reviewers and journalists see the movie and have their reviews ready to go on release day. You have to be someone or know someone to get tickets.

That are going on sale on Nov. 7th? Tickets for opening night? Sorry to ask so many questions, I just haven't been involved with all the hype before a big movie comes out before. Blush

Usually I wait to see movies I'm waiting for on opening day rather than opening night.
