Thranduil's wrath and security lapses?

Quote
And of course a moment of respect for all the elves that were killed (probably) when Bolg showed up - that nasty moment when he brings his mace down *wince*. The movie doesn't show it, but imagine Thranduil is really, really po'd at the loss of his elves. One thing that strikes me, looks like these extras train hard!

Good point! Pretty sure the orc beheading had an element of tit for tat, aside from the intimation of history. Smile

Re the dwarf escape/orc ambush, I am sure the sine-wave training these Elves are doing will be nothing to the extra drills the border guards had to do for the lapse in security that allowed the orcs to not only get so near but actually cross over the walls and take out elves with impunity.

The forest patrol strutting the swag (before the grounding takes effect?)

More of the border patrol

More advance appreciation I guess for another BotFA(?) Elf... Smile

For balance, Rivendell elves!

Fan of both books and movies. Oh, and it seems I have severely misnamed myself... for the moment.

Thranduil Appreciation: I, II, III, IV, V

"BoFA"= The Battle || "BotFA"/"tBofTA" = The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
