How was it oversized ... (and replacement version)

when it's 47kb, within guidelines right? Also the width is only 479pixels, less than the 670 pixel limit. Or am I missing something here?
ETA: Ah... ok, so now the file size limit is 45kb (I remember it was 48kb when I started or may memory's faulty), answer part of my confuzzlement at least. Please replace with this version - 30kb and 368px wide 503px high (attached).
