Marketing [In reply to] Can't Post

That would be a better marketing ploy than anything else Cool

(The trailers, not you dying Tongue )

"I am afraid it is only too likely to be true what you say about the critics and the public. I am dreading the publication for it will be impossible not to mind what is said. I have exposed my heart to be shot at." J.R.R. Tolkien

We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.

As a big fan of Jurassic Park, Star Wars *and* the Middle-earth films... [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't think I could handle that.

You're in luck! [In reply to] Can't Post

Apparently, DC wants to use the demographic power of BO5A to fire their own salvo after Marvel's Ultron teaser was received so well. A Batman V Superman Teaser is planned for Dec 17. Expect something the length of the SD teaser or a bit longer.

Also, John Williams received a cut of a Star Wars 7 teaser on October 20 from JJ, and the score will be recorded (all original and new SW music) in early November for a release with the Hobbit.

Colin Trevorrow has already tested a Jurassic World teaser secretly in the last 4-6 weeks as well, so expect that with the Hobbit too.

I will show you revenge...

I'm way more psyched to see the "Jurassic World" teaser [In reply to] Can't Post

Mainly because the marketing for that film has been non existent. I hope to see it sooner rather than later (it was originally attached to Interstellar). However, it would be pretty sweet to see that, and the final middle earth film in one go.

I do think tBot5a needs another trailer. The first one felt a little underwhelming to me.

"You're love of the halflings leaf has clearly slowed your mind"

^^^ That unnecessary apostrophe and "e" is due to the leaf itself. And this part of the signature was documented quite some time after the effect had worn off.

Its called "Biting off your nose to spite your face". [In reply to] Can't Post

I have read all sorts of reasons for not seeing a film more than once or not buying the video but this is the most ridiculous ever.

Well it certainly struck me as odd. [In reply to] Can't Post

Rather like suggesting one might visit a new local restaurant, love the meal, but refuse to ever eat there again because you didn't like how close to launch they put the "Opening Soon" sign in the window!
