First of all, that's a nice, thorough analysis! I greatly enjoyed reading your "conspiracy theory". Wink But it seems to me that such a development would unnecessarily complicate things. Wouldn't it be simpler to just assume that Azog and Bolg survived the battle?

On the other hand, there must be a reason why they're working for the Necromancer so perhaps he has done something to them. Still, having zombies in Middle-earth just seems not right somehow. I mean, geez, why not just give Azog a chainsaw arm while you're at it? Crazy
