These are 6 random subject lines from recent posts that found themselves in a fanfic! Enter at your own risk ;) Six-subject line challenge 1. Oooh... I think I could quite fancy that... by Greenwood Hobbit 2. I have half a memory by Ataahua 3. Arrrr matey, that be the ticket! Ye be after me own heart! by Tintalle 4. Even in the bathtub? by dernwyn 5. Well, that's an eye-opener and no mistake! by Voronwe the Faithful 6. Bread, an inadequate pat of butter, and thin milk - by SirDennisC
Hot water is a noble thing, but mushrooms are better! ...After the hobbits enjoyed a much needed hot bath, Sam leaned back and lifted his nose high in the air and drew in a long, slow sniff of dinner cooking. ..."I've been dreaming of this ever since we got here," he sighed. ..."Even in the bathtub?" asked Merry looking over and winking at Frodo. ...Sam shrugged. "When we were walking through the Forest, I would have been satisfied with some old bread, an inadequate pat of butter, and thin milk. Instead, we were served a feast from someone Frodo was loathe to see again. Old Farmer Maggot." ..."You mean the one with the wonderful mushroom fields?" gasped Fatty. ..."Yes! The best in the Shire," said Frodo. "I should know since I risked life and limb to gather some years ago. I thought his dogs were going to eat me!" ..."Well, that's an eye-opener and no mistake!" laughed Fatty. ..."I have half a memory of hearing about that, "chortled Merry. "It was not one of your finest moments!" ...Frodo laughed. "And now, after avoiding his wrath for a so long, dear Mrs. Maggot has given us enough for another fine meal." ...Fatty smiled and rub his hands together. "Oooh... I think I could quite fancy that...." Sam quickly nodded in agreement. ...Pippin spread out his arms, "Arrrr matey, that be the ticket! Ye be after me own heart!" Ok sibbies... you're turn!

Scene: Notta and Darkstone sit in a darkened bar on Testosterone Island, discussing the movies and enjoying bread, an inadequate pat of butter, and thin milk Notta: "Not only did they film XenArwen at Helm's Deep, but I have half a memory that they filmed a scene with Eowyn at Crickhallow Darkstone: Oooh, I think I could quite fancy that ...pause... Darkstone: Even in the bathtub? Notta: Arrr matey, that be the ticket! Ye be after me own heart! Darkstone: Well, that's an eye-opener and no mistake!
Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Trust is not. Neither is gratitude. - The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner as summarized by Lily Fairbairn. And a bit of the Hobbit reading thrown in never hurts. - NottaSackville

Yep, definitely an eye-opener, Mr. Notta - or should I say, Mr. Naughtta?

Ginger walked into the Green Dragon and sat down next to Pippin and Merry. “I could certainly do with a pint. All I have at home to eat is bread, an inadequate pat of butter, and thin milk. I couldn’t think of anything to cook with those.” “I have half a memory of your cooking. I think whatever you made would be awful,” Merry replied. Pippin laughed and said, “Arrr matey, that be the ticket! Ye be after me own heart! When it comes to Ginger’s cooking.” “Hey. Well, that’s an eye-opener and no mistake!” Ginger huffed. “I just might go home and cook something up and dump it all over both of you. And it won’t wash off. Even in the bathtub!” “A bath!” Merry smiled. “Ooh .. I think I could quite fancy that.” Ginger stormed out saying “That’s what you think of my cooking! See if I have you over for second breakfast anytime.” Pippin and Merry looked at each other, grinning. “I’d say we’ve dodged a stomachache!”

And surely your cooking could beat Eowyn's stew!
