Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Trust is not. Neither is gratitude. - The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner as summarized by Lily Fairbairn. And a bit of the Hobbit reading thrown in never hurts. - NottaSackville

Whoever actually updated TORN 201 with the sdrawkcab titles deserves about a billion respects Thanks, PTB - I logged in today on a very, very busy day just to see what you were up to. I was not disappointed!

Before I hit the button on all the changes, I felt a little (very, VERY distant) kinship to Tolkien that I was creating a new language. That, or I was just translating all the phrases into Welsh. Glad everyone enjoyed it!

This wasn't a good year to pull any big pranks, but we've got to have a little something fun on the day.
Silverlode Roads go ever ever on Under cloud and under star Yet feet that wandering have gone Turn at last to home afar. Eyes that fire and sword have seen And horror in the halls of stone Look at last on meadows green And trees and hills they long have known.

New Nerd. (Sorry, just couldn't resist, especially because I feel pretty safe with my name going backwards, unless it means something in Celtic or Anglo-Saxon. I still qualify as "Old Nerd," if that makes you feel any better. Being new is always cool, no matter the category.)

This is the longest April Fool's Day ever. It must be some sort of viral issue, maybe the same one that caused March to have 75 days.

"Starling" remains euphonic, yet in reverse, it sounds like an angry outburst.
