Ben WIshaw as Richard II, Jeremy Irons as Henry IV, Tom Hiddleston as Henry V, all backed up by outstanding supporting actors. Simon Russell Beale, who was Charles in my favorite version of "Persuasion," was riveting as Falstaff.
And of course you can't find a better scriptwriter than Will.
For the purposes of this poll: LOTR. The first PotC was the best film overall, but the trilogy lost something over time. TTT was not as good as FOTR but ROTK made up for it.

Influenced filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Elia Kazan, and Jean-Luc Goddard, as well as various anime artists, many modern novelists, and the music of the Beatles. Also Ray's eschewal of Hollywood's dominant Stanislavski method of acting for Apu's embrace of Rasa, the traditional Sanskrit method of performance, heavily influenced various films such as the Star Wars and Harry Potter films. (I might mention its influence on The Simpsons but I won't.)
A close second is Fritz Lang’s Doctor Mabuse trilogy, also heavily influential in film, most recently with Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Kight trilogy, including Heath Ledger’s Joker dialogue which borrowed heavily from the monologues of Dr. Mabuse about chaos and disorder.
Then there's John Ford’s Cavalry trilogy, a turning point in Hollywood’s portrayal of Native Americans whose the introduction of Monument Valley to film gave us as awesome a star as LOTR's introduction of New Zealand..
And Hiroshi Inagaki's The Samurai trilogy, heavily influential in films such as Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.
I'll also mention Jean Cocteau's Orphic trilogy, Krzysztof Kieœlowski's Three Colors trilogy, and Fernando de Fuente's long thought lost Revolution trilogy.
Then there's the trilogies you listed....
