Looking at that shot with Azog's army, it seems as orcs walking in sunlight was not a very new thing in LOTR times.

Azog reminds me a bit of Saruman when he sends his army to Helms Deep. I really guess we'll meet him as that leader of legions Gandalf spoke about in DOS. A real leader. I'm really looking forward to this!
Although sadly Azog doesn't wear any different clothes. I was hoping for some kind of leather coat if it's not an armor. But it's ok.

Even this teaser for the reader has me pumped. Slight observations:
- Gandalf is holding Radagast's staff
- The first shot seems to be refuges leaving Laketown, which is behind them smoldering
- The Orc army is on a plain, not yet in Dale - so will part of the battle take place outside of Dale?

I need to calm down and take these movies less seriously.... nah, who am I kidding, it is the last trip to the Middle Earth on screen!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
