Billy Connolly confirms pick-ups! Can't Post

Looks like the pick-up rumours are true, at least for some of the actors. I just found this article. I love the incongruity of using NASA spacesuit technology under a Dwarf's costume!

So I suppose the big questions is: will pick-ups involve all the actors, or just some of them? I'd put my money on all of them, but I could certainly be wrong.

Thanks for the link Ro [In reply to] Can't Post

A lot to go through for pickups isn't it? My bet is that many will be there; they seem to be a bunch that likes to get it just right.
I wish Billy well with his many issues.Angelic

Have an idea relating to the world of JRR Tolkien that you would like to write about? If so, the Third TORn Amateur Symposium will be running in the Reading Room April, 2014. *The Call for Submissions is up*!

**And Rem, you are doing that CoH chapter. Don't forget. **

That they'll be happening in July. Cause...you know, that would be cool for people who...might be in the area. Cool

Wishing Billy the best during his battle with everything he's going through. Not surprised how well he can keep up his sense of humor throughout.

In 10 days... [In reply to] Can't Post

In 10 days I will see the most of the dwarves' cast at HobbitCon.
I will be sure to ask them if any of them still will travel for pickups. :)

Hope they still have a SDCC presence [In reply to] Can't Post

This is Middle-earth's last time (in the foreseeable future) to have a presence at SDCC. I hope PJ and the cast can make it for a panel. I'd rather see that with more info and news and such than pickups.

Ask Dean O'Gorman please! [In reply to] Can't Post

But I doubt that Aidan Turner will make it, because he is supposed to be on the Poldark set, or will they make a break for/around him??
Please, can you ask for this veeery important piece of information as well?

Turner won't be attending... [In reply to] Can't Post

...but 10 dwarves will be, including O'Gorman. So I'll ask around. :)

Sounds like a Thorin relative [In reply to] Can't Post

LOL "I have a war to fight; elves to kill" - another firebrand dwarf - love these guys. Am beginning to really see why BC was picked for Dain. And he IS wished well re his many issues, esp, since I have 2 family members who are cancer fighters/survivors.

Thank you for the link, bet we all look forward the first real Dain images, which I am sure will be completely badass.
