Used to have some good fantasies about that man! why? He's mature. Intelligent. Well rounded. Decisive without being bossy or egotistical. And I think he might dance.

Although not very trustworthy, I prefer him to Picard. The other two I've never heard of, so that narrowed down the options quite quickly.

Although I'd cheerfully sign on with any of them. The choice for me was really between sea and space, and I went with the final frontier.

All of the captains listed have very nice...qualities. But if I had to be stuck on a ship with someone, i'd have to pick Capt. Jack.

I left out several yummy captains - Captain Jack Harkness was a candidate, as was Temeraire's Captain Will Laurence - but in the end I went with ship captains. And picked Hornblower over Aubrey, another Cap'n Jack . . .

Never have those three little words sounded better! (I refer, of course, to "Make it so.") Jean Luc was smart, charismatic, tough when necessary, humble enough to know his limitations and loyal to his crew. Who wouldn't follow him?

Cap'n Jack Sparrow looks absolutely delicious, but if I'm being at all realistic he'd probably stink of rum at best ~yuk~ Cap'n Picard - not outer space, thanks, whatever the company's like! I have to confess I don't know the other two, so I may be condemning a real cutie to voyage solitarily - or not!? To span the seas on a tall ship - wow! Horatio could be relied upon to be a gentleman - a clean, upstanding English hero - and he looks pretty darn good too. However, as he'd have to travel with his crew - he's good, but not good enough to sail a ship single-handed! - opportunities for dalliance might exist with some of his shipmates. (Run while you can, Archie...)
