May it be a blessed one!
Here's a little Frodo inspired poem....
Farewell in 3/4 Time
Come and lay your head on my shoulder;
Rest your beating heart close to mine.
While this weary world waxes older
Close your eyes to the passing of time.
You don't say just where you are going;
You won't speak of places you've been.
You can't hide the secret I'm knowing -
You would taste love once more ere the end.
I remember shared seasons of wonder,
When, suspended the hourglass seemed,
Till the fetters of fate bound us, sundered,
Unto our fears and unto our dreams.
How many turns of the glass am I granted?
Swift slides the sand while the mire where I'm planted -
Deceives.
Come and lay your head on my shoulder;
Rest your beating heart close to mine.
While this weary world waxes older
Close your eyes to the passing of time.
Harper, unheard, lures our feet to a lonely place;
Thief, undiscerned, steals away all restraint;
Artist, unseen, paints my heart with your perfect face
'Neath heaven's stars shining silver and faint.
How fly the moments to a tryst with forevermore;
How cries my heart to remain here with you;
How can it be I'll hear your whispers nevermore?
Stars still endure though their frame fades to blue.
Endless the glass turns past pain and past sorrow;
My heart, in the hope of a sweet shared tomorrow -
Believes.

Happy Birthday!
Wow, I just want to say, fantastic job with LotR. In my mind, you ARE Frodo. I am also curious, looking back, how do you view LotR now? Are you still good friends with the other "Hobbits"? I had fun listening to you guys wax philosophical in the cast commentaries! That was great.
I'm very curious to try playing you one-on-one in a video game and see how good you really are....
keep up the good work!
Theres some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and its worth fighting for.

I may be... *counts*....2 days late, but no matter. Anyhoo,
Happy Birthday, Mr. Wood!
I remember first seeing you when I was little on the movie Flipper.
Guys, I think that movie brings back horrible memories. Where
did he go wrong. Elijah himself as the character wasn't scary,
it was....cough cough...the hammerhead. (I used to hide behind our
lazy boy when he came out)
Your roles in FotR, TT, and RotK were pretty much incredible. You should
totally be in Spamalot some day. It think you'd do well as Sir Robin.
