DoS a certified fresh

It barely made it there but DoS got the RT Certified fresh sign, for what it's worth. It will keep it unless it will fall below 70 because it was able to hold a 75 rating for quite a while, even with being back at 74 now. The average rating is, however, not much higher than AUJ's was with only a 0.3 increase. The increase of ratings and ratios by top critics is more impressive and tells us that many critics did give DoS a new chance and will do the same with Taba.

For a while there it didn't seem possible. Glad this happened!

"for what it's worth....." Too true, and ironically critically acclaimed movies often don't do well at the box office anyway. Critic sites were another place I embargoed myself from, thankfully, before I saw DOS, so I could watch it without any mental clutter and remarks from overly chatty critics. And my first thought at leaving DOS was "I gotta see this again...." Which I have, but I'll probably join the "I never-go-to-a-movie-the-first-week-of-release" crowds this weekend. Lots of folks like that, including some friends of mine. Ha ha, it'll be fun watching their minds get blown.

... I think the overall average is often not too far off from my personal experience and people around me. I think the overly positive and negative reviews balance themselves out. And most in the middle make valid points, both praise and criticism imho.
