Beautiful [In reply to] Can't Post

Saw this earlier and I love it. Nice to have a full image of Smaug specifically so I can use it my avatar.

Oh my! I jumped back from my laptop's screen! [In reply to] Can't Post

I should have been careful, not having seen the movie yet, and so, not seen him. How fierce looking! Crazy

Oh [In reply to] Can't Post

Oh you beautiful, beautiful creature.

The entire scene with Bilbo talking with him + the dwarves fighting him, it was so epic. The best dragon i have ever seen in a movie or game (Skyrim have nice dragons though).

A masterpiece.

I wanna see a scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dur and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END.

-My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

Smaug is very much a WETA dragon [In reply to] Can't Post

The way he looks is extremely reminiscent of various past designs but especially the 'V-Rex' in Kong.

Smaug is an amazing achievement! The most important element of The Hobbit was getting Smaug right. We knew they could do Gollum but I honestly didn't think they were capable of pulling off a Smaug as good as we got. I am glad to be pleasantly surprised!!

I'm just glad that they didn't design him like Eustace in The Dawn Treader. [In reply to] Can't Post

I used to think that WETA had designed that dragon as well, so I was pretty terrified for what they'd do to Smaug.
