One uninformed line:
"A possible reason for this “Hobbit’s” greatness is that it only covers the middle portion of the book -- the parts with all the action. ..." Has he read the end of the book?
Plus, TABA is set up for all of the major action...Smaug, Dol Guldur, Bo5A.
Otherwise, the review is very favorable.

and in that case it will likely end about 75% for critics. Love it to be at 80 or higher, but probably unlikely at this point.
