interesting [In reply to] Can't Post

kind of sloppy review that's all over the place but had some interesting things to say.

does sound like the cliffhanger ending is as about as cliffy as you can get, which is bound to bother some people. i think i'll be okay with it (Catching Fire was like this and i really dug the end of that film), though it does make me wonder about how the heck they're gonna structure TABA.

i dont care if most of reviewers [In reply to] Can't Post

complain only about cliffhanging ending and superficial or Video game look of the movie. I have no problem about them at all and I think most of us have been speculating this for a long time.

Haha I feel that way exactly ! [In reply to] Can't Post

I already feel the great emptiness that will spread in my heart as the screen goes black... It was hard enough last year with a quiet ending, this year it's really gonna be a tough moment !

Of course, it's nothing compared to what we'll feel at the end of TaBA. Thank god i'm not feeling that already !

Can see what you mean [In reply to] Can't Post

I think they are going to have to change the structure from a journey/an epic to a single event/a tragedy (BoFA). The Lonely Mountain would be the stage where all the storylines come together - Aristotelian theater in a way (unity of action, unity of place, unity of time). Done right, this would make for a nice greek tragedy full of cathartic moments.
Sorry for the bad English...

Well there is one crucial question [In reply to] Can't Post

How many legs Sm... oh well I guess somebody else will ask you that

It's nice of you to propose to answer our questions !

There's something I'd really like to know : action scenes will be great, no doubt, but are there some really good emotional scenes too, the kind we can witness in Lord of the Rings, like the end of the Fellowship of the Rings ?

And also, how beautiful is the last shot of the movie ? The other middle earth movies often have beautiful enfing shots, but due to the cliff hanger I wonder if it will be the case in DoS

Maybe WB sent some angry lawyers dressed as Azog to convince him that the boycott is a real deal.

Nothing dramatic [In reply to] Can't Post

It was a professional screening and I wasn't supposed to write a review afterwards, so my friend politely asked me to delay it a week.

My bad and I apologize.

I hope to talk to you all more in a week.

Now I'm curious which sequences he's talking about?

Spiders, Barrels, and Smaug perhaps?

The Grey Pilgrim, they once called me. Three hundred lives of men I walked this earth, and now I have no time...
