Luke Evans had been tempted to give up acting. Can't Post

From a New Zealand Herald interview with him:

"... there were three occasions in the last 10 years where I didn't act for a year and ended up doing anything, just to survive, like working as a doorman, busking and being a secret shopper at Harrods. It was pretty disheartening and I could have easily lost hope. But I'm so glad I didn't because I would have missed out on so many great experiences, including The Hobbit."

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.
