Thank YOU so much!!
" Why, O people of Noldor! Fëanor cried. Why should we longer serve the jealous Valar, who cannot keep us nor even their own realm secure from their enemy? And though he be now their foe, are not they and he of one kin? Vengence calls me hence, but even were it otherwise I would not dwell longer in the same land with the kin of my father's slayer and of the thief of treasure. Yet i am not the only valiant in this valiant people. And have ye not all lost your King? And what else have ye not lost, cooped here in a narrow land between the mountains and the sea? Here once was light, that the Valar begrudged to middle-earth, but now dark levels all. Shall we mourn here deedless forever, a shadow-folk, mist-haunting, dropping vain tears in the thankless sea? Or shall we return to our home? In cuiviènen sweet ran the waters under uncloaded stars, and wide lands lay about, where a free people might walk. There they lie still and await us who in out folly forsook them. Come away! Let the cowards keep this city!"

Nice. But "i'm not listening! i'm not listening!". By going by your comments this soundtrack may be one of the best you people have heard. I am really excited to hear this in the cinema on December 12th.
I wanna see a scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dur and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END. -My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

Some highlights 1) The Forest River, especially Thorin's theme 2) This new Dwarven theme I'm dubbing 'Thorin's Destiny' until proven wrong. The rendition heard in 'Girion, Lord of Dale' is stunning. Indeed, the Dwarven music in general is just fantastic, and very emotional. I got teary-eyed just listening to 'On the Doorstep' 3) The Minas Morgul reprise in 'A Spell of Concealment' 4) Laketown's theme. Great.

Doesn't seem to work on iOS. Anyone know of anywhere else that someone has uploaded it? I guess it's only a matter if time before it ends up on YouTube which would work.

It's just like a variation of the Sauron/Mordor theme but with a different ending and sometimes it sounds like "Psycho" :D … and yes… I guess you're right ;-)

Holy moley… poor Gandalf there's very much going on in Dol Guldur! Love how Shore uses the parts from Minas Morgul… this sounds so evil… great! I could imagine this is where he fights the Nine or even the Necromancer himself right? Cool stuff!

Sick in bed and this really helps that crap day get a bit better ;) Spoilers / Discussion In general a lot of the music sound dark, melancholic or/and dangerous. I hope this will be the case for the story, especially the dangerous aspect. Not the "nothin can happen to us" going on in AUJ. I also agree with the review posted here on TORN some days ago... despite some highlights the first CD is a bit underwhelming - but the second, oh my God. The Quest for Erebor Hm... I do not see hints at either the inside of Moria or the Balrog, do you? But the music would fit a flashback within the Bree-flashback to Azanulbizar. Wilderland I wonder why the Smaug theme is in there? And not just a hint but rather "loudly". A bit generic in general. The House of Beorn Clear Sauron-theme if I am not mistaken towards the end, right? Mirkwood Should work great with the images of the forest... it is interesting how it is sometimes more sounds than actual music. Flies and Spiders Great one... one of those that does not need the pictures to work but which makes the pictures come alive on its own. Always great to hear our Ring-theme ;) The Woodland Realm The first real highlight on the score imho. Thranduil's theme is just breathtaking. Feast of Starlight One of the tracks that is just clearly both Shore and Middle-earth. Barrels out of Bond I love how Bilbo's theme is changed and used here. The Forest River This alone should make the barrels' scene quite iconic... just hope that why I support PJ in trying interesting stuff here, that it won't be too OTT (PJ OTT is fine, just not that extra bit ;) ) Bard a Man of Lake Town I miss a clearer theme or motif here to be honest... the most iconic would be the bit to the end which also sounds quite similar to what we here in some of the Lake Town motifs. The High Fells More ethereal sounds and singing! Always in for that! The Nature of Evil "In time all foul things come forward..." But again a bit generic imho despite really interesting moments. Protector of the Common Folk I wonder in which scene this will come... during them sailing to the city? Maye the scene we saw in one of the blogs with "never venture east"? Probably... as we get Lake Town music in there towards the second half... there is one motif in there that we also get in the Bard and Thrice Welcome track... maybe that is Bard's theme after all? Thrice Welcome Apart from the Smaug themes really the big masterpiece of this OST. Girion Lord of Dale Interesting how calm it is... so maybe not so much a re-cap of Dale's destruction but more of the family/Dale history? Durin's Folk Might this be the scene with the poem and Bard realizing who Thorin is? In the Shadow of the Mountain I guess a travelling piece... A Spell of Concealment Love the Dol Guldur themes... I really really love the danger in this music. The end MUST be the reveal of Sauron... oh may God. The moment that theme kicks in... goosebumps. Isn't this not just the Minas Morgul music but also the one we hear when we first see Barad-dûr? On the Doorstep You can see the sun setting and the door revealing itself by this piece of music alone... magnificent. Love the Thorin theme in there. There should be nice character stuff in there. The Courage of Hobbits I am sure this will be a great Balin-Bilbo-Thorin scene. With the music and all it also resembles the scene from Bag-end in which Gandalf tells Frodo how Hobbits can still surprise one after a hundred years. Ahhh... and the first "Asian" sounds... goosebumps. Inside Information
Kingsfoil The music hints that this will be the last calmer moment before the climax, I am sure Bard and the two Elves will also bond here and later Tauriel and Legolas will report back to Thranduil and ease the creation of their alliance against Erebor in TABA. Great piece of music. What theme from LotR is repeated at the very end? A Liar and a Thief & The Hunters Always thought "The Hunters" would be a Dol Guldur track... but there is the Smaug theme very prominently in there while the Dol Guldur theme is in "A Liar and a Thief"... but maybe that is just because the two plotlines will intercut here several times. Might we get an explanation here why Azog is hunting down Thorin and Co in Dol Guldur? Maybe the Necromancer questioning Gandalf and revealing something himself? Smaug
 My Armor is Iron
Oh please let this be the attack on Lake Town. I have really made a full U-turn on this subject and really belief he needs to take his bath in this one. The choir that sets in... that could be a dying moment... and the scond time the choir comes the moment in which he sinks to the bootom and the lake and the town is destroyed around him. Beyond the Forest Too bad there seems not to have been a place in the movie to use it... maybe we will get some glimpses of it. But together with Ed Sheeran a good way to recover from the movie while the credits role. So excited for the night of 10/11 December now

Could Gandalf's story in DOS culminate less than 3/4 of the way through the movie? I can't really see any other tracks after a Spell of Concealment that could belong to Gandalf. I would've thought Gandalf had quite a large role here. I hope I'm wrong and we'll see some more.

... I think "A Liar and a Thief" and "The Hunters" both might have elements of both story arcs in them. Would make sense that they are intercutting these scenes at some point.

I think your guess about this one is right. I can hear protector of the common folk theme and smaug theme clashes together at the end. Hunters sounds like Dwarves battle with Smaug. spoiler!! (Maybe they will show smaug attacks the Laketown. Bard falls to water somewhere( and Smaug too) then cut to Dwarves in Erebor (What have we done?).
