Hi everyone! Not sure if this has been posted before, but here it is: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/...777-h607-no/2013+-+1 This is the first pic that I've seen that has the whole family together. Bard appears to be wearing different clothes in this shot. Where do you suppose they are here? Modar edit: Link now clickable.

Knowing the Bard has something (his family) invested in Laketown totally changes his motivation for the better. He's not weary of the dragon just to save his own skin.

Yeah looks like they are watching a burning town. Check out the orange glow on their faces and the dejected facial expressions. Maybe we do get to see the town burn after all? Those are J Nesbitt's girls, aren't they? Totally see the family resemblance.

Thanks for that interior photo! Wow, WETA certainly do good work don't they? :) Imagine having Bard for your dad. Me: "I hope I make the basketball team. Tryouts are today after school." Bard: "Your school will burn, your court will fall, and your hope will fade." Me: "Uhhh . . ."

his character and backstory. Hoping for good stuff. The more I see of Luke Evans actually playing Bard, the more excited I get.

that clearly don't seem the result of makeup but rather, look very natural. While I can honestly say this makes them look perfectly the part, I am concerned about them in real life. I hope the family in Ireland is good to them

I hope she's not just completely ignored. Also, am I the only one who thinks Bard looks too young to have such old-looking children?

... but in the sneak peek I thought that Evans as Bard looks older than the actor's age (34). He can pass as around 40 years old imo. And we have to calculate that Bard will have probably become a father quite early in life as in most medieval societies. PS: Good to have you back, btw. Or haven't you been gone at all and I just haven't come across your posts?
