So,Gandalf and Radagast flee with the bunny sled ?

as it looks from the pictures posted earlier, from Dol Guldur. That also indicates that this might happens at the end of DoS and that they used the sled to get to the High Fells as well though.

... I hope this will turn out to be true. There should not be a major Gandalf cliffhanger. We know that he will make it and even the more ignorant audiences will know. They should focus on making the Sauron reveal (which will not be that great of a reveal to many people as they will ahve guessed long ago) and make that work cinematically. So the two wizards realizing Sauron's return and that he is involved in the Company's quest to Erebor (I am very certain of that) and setting off to gather the White Council is a much better ending to that arc in DoS imho. I am much more confident now although I am sure haters of the bunny sledge will be on the barricades by now :D

You called it! I don't hate the idea of the bunny sled, but the execution... If you're going to put something that outlandish in a film, at least make it look good. I think most would agree that the green screen in the warg chase was horrendous. I remember feeling embarrassed in front of my friends that I brought to the midnight showing.

so far we havent seen anything of the sled concerning the High Fells. May the area isnt that suitable for bunnies to ride ?! I guess they are waiting on top of the mountains or anywhere else... Cause this area does not look very Sled-friendly ;) http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/thehobbit2-sneakpeek_h1080p-mov-mp4_0001141551.jpg

...we've got a full trace of rabbits, half a pouch of Old Toby, it's dark, and we're wearing funny hats. Gandalf: Hit it. (Oh, please PJ, make it happen!!!!)

If he is using it to escape from the Necromancer. I'd wear a pink tutu if it meant escaping from something deadly. I agree that it is unexpectedly charming. I'd love to have wizz round on it! You could travel across countryside, without worrying about traffic. Unless there's a cow-jam. That might get messy.

Easily the dumbest and most irritating thing in any of the LOTR or the first Hobbit movie. I loved them all including the first Hobbit movie, but the bunny sled is just awful.

What can I say? If I had rabbits that big, I'd probably try hitching them up to a wagon or something, as well.
"I had forgotten that. It is hard to be sure of anything among so many marvels. The world is all grown strange. Elf and Dwarf in company walk in our daily fields; and folk speak with the Lady of the Wood and yet live; and the Sword comes back to war that was broken in the long ages ere the fathers of our fathers rode into the Mark! How shall a man judge what to do in such times?" "As he ever has judged. Good and ill have not changed since yesteryear; nor are they one thing among Elves and Dwarves and another among Men. It is a man's part to discern them, as much in the Golden Wood as in his own house."

Sauron in his lair, dignity sometimes has to go by the wayside. I will find it more dignified and acceptable by far for a Gandalf who has fought his way out of Dol Guldur to escape at last on the front of a rabbit drawn sled, than for him to not get on the sled, but also not escape the enemy's lair until film three or whenever the Council arrives. and i found it unexpectedly charming (if a bit shoddy in execution), I truly hope that Gandalf never has anything to do with it-- it's beneath the character's dignity.
