Kingsfoil is no doubt the moment where Tauriel heals Kili of his wounds in Lake Town. A Spell of Concealment is no doubt Gandalf using magic in Dol Guldur when he is in grave danger. Beyond the Forest? Considering it's one of the last tracks I am left as baffled as anyone. It seems like it's referencing the beginning of the third act when the company escapes Mirkwood and arrives at Long Lake but then why is it one of the last tracks... no clue what part of the movie it may actually refer to.

I rather think A Spell of Concealment is about the Hidden Door. I believe that the track The Nature of Evil might point to a Dol Guldur sequence.. because as we all know: Sauron = Nature of Evil

That's one of Gollums lines in TTT when he's debating himself. Do you think this could hint at a Gollum return or a reference to Bilbo? Also I think by the last tracks it''s fairly certain we don't get to Smaug till near the end of the film. No way will we see the attack on laketown in this film.

Yes, there's a thread about 20 places below this one...

but as it's now on the second or third page we might as well discuss it all again! My suggestion: "Beyond the Forest" is referring to Bilbo's view over the canopy of Mirkwood, and will be heard over the closing credits, after "I see fire".

The Necromancer got his own soundtrack! Oh boy! It makes me so happy. Can't wait to hear it. Hopefully it's when Gandalf will meet the Necromancer when he is locked inside his cell. Wow.... My jaw is on the floor...
But i really wanna see that, i wanna see that scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dûr and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END. -My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

It's track 3 and obviously everything is in chronological order. It's between the Carrock and Beorns house so the only way I see it... it's maybe Gandalf thinking of the Necromancer (perhaps even a flashback or at least a nightmare) or Azog returning to Dol Guldur after he lost the Dwarves at the end of AUJ meeting up with Bolg and their Dark Lord. But Gandalf is with the Dwarves until the track Mirkwood. That's where he leaves them.

But but.... But... Maybe the soundtrack is not in chronoglical order? Damnit... Well, i am just happy the Necromancer got his own theme.
But i really wanna see that, i wanna see that scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dûr and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END. -My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

actually... he already has a lot of own themes, motifs and cues ;-) Just listen to the tracks "Radagast the Brown" (Special Edition), "The Hill of Sorcery" and the "The White Council" (even more in the Special Edition). And yeah... another opportunity would be listening to the LOTR scores

An amazing track! Genuinely amazing, hearing a slightly different version of the Mordor theme just gets me fired up!
I simply walked into Mordor.

6. On the Doorstep - Self Explanatory 7. The Courage of Hobbits - Going down the tunnel, golden cup 8. Inside Information - I think this is where we will se the confrontation between Bilbo and Smaug 9. Kingsfoil - Tauriel? 10. A Liar and a Thief - Trying to figure out how these last ones fit together. Bilbo v Smuag still? Arkenstone!?!Not in DOS...I hope Must be either Bilbo or Master of Laketown. But these are really just titles, they don't give everything away In fact they could be intentionally misleading! 11. The Hunters ** - Taking a wild stab at it, maybe the group left behind/Tauriel/Legolas? Probably Azog again 12. Smaug ** I'm going on record as saying Smaug dies in DOS. Attack on LT commences. Checking runtimes might help decipher with better certainty. 13. My Armor Is Iron - I might have to do an about face if runtimes contradict me but I think we see Bard do his thing and then a wind down to the credits. Gonna be wild 14. I See Fire performed by Ed Sheeran - 15. Beyond the Forest - ??? I didn't think PJ did after credits scenes, It brought to mind that great brooding kinda of mood as we looked over Mordor at the end of TTT. Oh well, I bet someone will dig something up and explain this for the rest of us. Arrgh! Trying to seperate points, so it's easy to read. no luck need sleep

Dol Guldur, and isn't just some tongue in cheek refference to the dwarves or Smaug asking Bilbo if he is using such to slip around unnoticed, or some cryptic refference to what the Ring does. has anyone discussed this, have i missed a thread? itunes u.s holds all the track listings of howards shores dos soundtrack though they are not available to purchase, you can still read them. some pretty tasty titles i must say! kingsfoil? beyond the forest? a spell of concealment? discuss!!.. That track could also refer to Thranduil's "such is the nature of evil" speech from the trailer
