Great marketing move. [In reply to] Can't Post

It really worked out... unless too much stuff from teh 30 minutes leak.

The clam period was worth it. Twitter is exploding.

I really enjoyed it! [In reply to] Can't Post

It's incredible that this kind of live-streaming thing is even possible thanks to technology and it's great that Warner Bros. and PJ are taking advantage of it to connect with fans! My mom, dad and I all watched it together and really enjoyed it!Heart I'll probably be watching the new vlog and trailer on a daily basis until the next vlog comes out. I got super excited when PJ said the vlogs would be coming fast and thick between now and the movie premier! I love behind the scenes stuff!

All Mondays should be this fun [In reply to] Can't Post

Random thoughts:

1) There's lots of fans for lots of things, but I love being a Hobbit movie fan with all the other fans 'round the world.
2) When RA said that "fire" line my heart stopped.
3) PJ is definitely the boss, but think he sidestepped the question the fan was asking re time for all the characters - very diplomatic, but hafta see the movie.......
4) Loved Luke Evans explaining the bow draw. Loved Lee Pace. Orly looked good to me, why did they ever mess with his face in earlier footage? EL actually made me laugh flipping off Thranduil in blog.
5) Grateful to PJ and to all who made this event happen.
6) Wish the online folks could have seen more questions answered, but seeing the new clip/trailer was like getting run over. And hearing Thorin say the "fire" line in context caused major hyperventilating.
7) I will be up late rewatching the new vblog
8) I will be up late watching the new trailer over and over.
9) I will wear out my alt + print screen key grabbing screen shots.
10) This movie - OMG!!!!!!

And I would say that's a privilege being a Tolkien fan and have the feeling we have right now.

(I apologize if my English it's not the best one, for it's not my native language. And I'm WAY TOO excited to think about grammar and the proper words!)Laugh

Wow indeed!! Did you notice in the Video Blog Aiden [In reply to] Can't Post

wielding that sword around??!!! Whoa!!! I guess Kili has talents other than just archery!! And I love in the vlogs how we get to see the cast having bloopers or doing funny things on set, like Gandalf missing his lines or Tauriel giving Thranduil the finger behind his back! What a treat this was!

Aiden seemed to be having fun flipping that sword around. And yeah, the bloopers were fun, hearing Gandalf swearing was entertaining.

And don't forget the most important part: Thorin flipping his hair over his shoulder Wink

Well, you know... [In reply to] Can't Post

Thorin takes the cake for majestic, but I'll happily admit that Kili has...umm...well, I'll just say his bow is very well-strung. Angelic And I'm sure his sword has just the right amount of pointiness to it, too. And drat it, I don't care if he's a bit on the young side!

I giggled at Tauriel's lack of respect for Thranduil. Too funny -- I do hope we get to see more of those bloopers at some point down the road!

Truly a privilege [In reply to] Can't Post

"And I would say that's a privilege being a Tolkien fan and have the feeling we have right now"

Perfectly said! Feels as though I'm part of one big global party!

(And not only is your use of English perfect, I've often found that people from other countries speak better English than those raised in the U.S. - it's the education you see. Though I have had enormous fun explaining slang or street English phrases to people from other countries and have them translating phrases for me - we've gotten many laughs, but learned human nature seems to be the same around the worldEvil)

gotta learn how to post images.... [In reply to] Can't Post

coz I just took a screen shot of Thorin - there's a VERY quick shot of him in trailer 3 looking at Thranduil going on about the Arkenstone - and oh geez all I can think of is THAT is how to look bedraggled and absolutely gorgeous *tells self to breathe*.

Thorin flips hair - "because he's worth it". Am sure RA is just staying in character, but Thorin's expression under the umbrellas is amusing as the rain pours. Side note re Kili - rocks with a sword! Love these guys!
