This trailer looks so wonderfully promising. Up to this point I've been mildly excited for Desolation. But this new trailer has made feel that same excitement that I felt as a teenager looking forward to each of the great lord of the rings movies. I haven't felt this rush of excitement for over 10 years for anything. I simply cannot wait for this movie. I gave Journey a 7/10 because it was a good movie but didn't capture that magical greatness of the original trilogy. However, I feel, based off trailer three, Desolation will be recapture that certain 'magic' Gosh I can't wait! I just know this one is going to be better than Journey! I love you Peter

So Bard is motivated by a prophecy (that is accurate, by the way) that the King Under the Mountain's return will spell the end of Laketown. Interesting.
We saw a snippet of Tauriel's "no mercy" moment with a captured orc, and there is a spoiler pic out there separately that shows Bolg hiding behind a tree near the bridge into the realm, most likely watching the dwarves being taken there as captives. So now we know how they will keep the scent of the dwarves for that silly river chase after barrels out of bond.

I'm getting rather annoyed with all the marketing and 'badass amazon' vibe the character is giving off (purely my opinion) I'm keeping an open mind till we actually see her in context in the film, but seeing how all my fears and issues about AUJ proved accurate I'm not holding my breath.
Still, the trailer was rather great.
I don't have much to say.
