but wow they really botched Martin Freeman's face.
Who knew they had plastic surgeons in Middle Earth. 
It feels like some marketing director told the artist that Bilbo's face wasn't serious enough... "Make it darker"
Yikes.
Ah well. Good thing his face doesn't actually look like that.
The Gandalf poster is my favorite. You still see Ian McKellen in there. Pretty cool.

I particularly like the side view of Thorin (a different angle from the one generally depicted), and the ones of Thranduil (absolutely spectacular, as ever, sweetie) and Gandalf.
I just don't understand why they feel the need to tinker so much with THE Hobbit's face.

I love the rest but Bilbo. How the heck did that even make it out of the editing? That is completely horrific. Not even close. Terrible and I can't believe they actually released that as a poster. Come on I draw stick figures and could have done better than that. Ugh.
Thorin is fantastic though, as is Gandalf. I really like those. The side profile on Thorin is awesome.

Bad enough every time I watch AUJ, I pause, just to see that profile a few seconds more as Thorin watches Bilbo walk down the hall at Bag End, with the glorious mane cascading - and now this.
Someone up there is trying to make it up to me for all those dry, no-image months this summer, LOL.
Must have Thorin and Thranduil for the wall art - stamps and posters and an epic trailer and an EE version, with gloriously majestic Thorin and enigmatic Thranduil *happiness* and my reward today for spending 6 hours assembling a desk from that Swedish box store . Gotta agree tho, not sure why Bilbo was done half-way drawing Sting? I still am waiting on a Bilbo poster I REALLY like, tho this one isn't bothering me as much as some others.

Everyone's seen AUJ, they know what Bilbo looks like!! So why photoshop his image to make him look entirely different?? It could be a new actor in MF's place!
