TH:DOS Deluxe Soundtrack contents! Can't Post

Here the info from Doug Adams' twitter:

"The Special Edition of HowardShore's score to The Desolation Of Smaug contains music from the film with twelve extended score cues, bonus track, liner notes by Producer and Director Peter Jackson, extended liner notes by Doug Adams, with interactive orchestral sketch signed by composer Howard Shore packaged in a 2 CD hardcover DigiBook. "

Now I wonder what this interactive orchestral sketch might be. CD-ROM content?

Rumours have it... [In reply to] Can't Post

... that WaterTower Music will also publish the track list soonish (like really soonish).

I saw it in a couple of posts... [In reply to] Can't Post

... on Twitter and in a German forum. All people seem to work for WaterTower. However, all of them predicted it (or at least "something") for yesterday and it did not happen. Since then the Twitter posts are gone and in the German forum the user mentioned it may have been pushed to the new week to go with the fan-event.

Anyway, I guess all news now will be rather soonish regarding the soundtrack, if last years shedule is anything to judge by.

I asked Doug Adams on Twitter... [In reply to] Can't Post

... he answered "Shouldn't be long at all".

So we can hope it is rather soonerer than sooner :D

:) [In reply to] Can't Post

I am so excited for the soundtrack. That's always the best part of it all. Even if the movie itself is not as brilliant as the LOTR was.
I recently watched LOTR again and realized how much the music makes these films so amazingly perfect.
I'ts gonna be very cool to hear how Shore describes the new places/people through his music,
