Please delete if this is old news. http://www.richardarmitagenet.com/...ls/album/index5.html (Not all of them are new, but some are from a German calendar) I like this one in particular... the dwarves look more and more dwarish the more they "degenerate" during the journey ;) http://www.richardarmitagenet.com/...alendar-October.html
“A dragon is no idle fancy. Whatever may be his origins, in fact or invention, the dragon in legend is a potent creation of men’s imagination, richer in significance than his barrow is in gold.” J.R.R. Tolkien Words of wisdom that should be remembered - both by critics, purists and anyone in between.

Stephen Fry looks very Steven Fryish! and suitably creepy Can easily imagine this photo being used as a joke on QI.
I don't have much to say.

I love seeing all the Dwarf pictures, but I particularly like the one of Thorin with mane of hair and swinging sword, among the spider webs. It's from the blue banner, I think. Great image of Stephen Fry as the Master, too. I think he may be rather good in the film.

I love Stephen Fry, but his costume, facial hair and expression look so cheesy and campy here. I know Fry is a comedian but he can also play fairly serious or non-cheesy comedy. I hope it turns out alright, but as with most things in these movies PJ seems to dial them up to 11. He was never exceptionally subtle with LOTR, but could be at times. He seems to have lost his subtly. Most the character designs especially that are new to these movies are way over the top with the big exception (thankfully) being Bilbo.

For me, there is a problem with the cover image.
It has the most images of Thorin in it, so it seemed the most logical choice. I come from a german background, so I can always ask my mom to translate the days of the week and months into English (it's not that difficult to figure out, since they are in the proper order).
