Desolation of Smaug - World Premiere in LA Can't Post

I suppose this can be used for people to talk specifically about details on the world premiere.

I'm wondering...

1.Do you need to buy a ticket or pass to get into the red carpet portion?

2. Are we able to see the movie screening, or is it just for professionals and movie people?

I'm sorry if this reply is a little bit OT, but I didn't know if I should open a new thread or not... [In reply to] Can't Post

I've just read the news about the World DoS premiere location...
LA people, you're really lucky!
Should we expect some other premieres shows in other countries as happened las year? When you think they will tell us the list? I'm still waiting and hoping to buy the tickets for the London Premiere...

They hit all the major markets. [In reply to] Can't Post

I know there were premieres of AUJ in London and the US, and I think in Japan as well. Maybe more. They keep cast members busy globe trotting during the first few weeks, for max publicity.

Gonna guess next year is London [In reply to] Can't Post

So perhaps both Ians and Chris Lee can attend and because, ultimately, the story is a mythic prehistory of the UK.

Save the Texas Prairie Chicken.

Normally [In reply to] Can't Post

If there are bleachers, tickets or passes are available; though the method they are distributed varies. The areas behind the barricades across the street are open to the public. The public is generally not invited into the theater for the premier; though on occasion, tickets are available through networks and promotions.

Living here in the Central Valley I am going to try and go down and make it for this one. It should be terrific.

There will be lots of Torn staff attending, [In reply to] Can't Post

and I'm sure many message board members either live in the area or will be traveling to LA. Watch the Moots board as we get closer to the event.
