What with illegal dowloads and on demand services the fact that people are paying money for a DVD or blu-ray means they think that AUJ is a keeper, a film to be watched repeatedly in years to come

An advantage AUJ probably has that others on the list don't is the EE version. I wonder if that version might equals the sales of the theatrical release.

i think this is one example where the studio banks on the double-dip. i'm sure all the people who liked the film bought it and than they find out there's a extended edition and buy it again.
