What about Legolas VS Will Turner?

This sounds weird, but there you go: Who do you think would win a fight between Legolas and Will Turner? I'm inclined to say Legolas myself, but not so sure! [Speaking of POTC, the 4th is coming out, though you probably all ready know that ] Just reply with what you think... mae govannen! Love, Arwen

Quoting Elizabeth Swan now :) Considering at the end of the 3rd POTC Will becomes immortal and has always kicked butt with a sword...And our tireless immortal elf is lethal with a bow... *thinking* hmmmm... I think I might have to go with Legolas on this one… Not too sure…

Really a tough choice. They both are quite skilled and agile, although Legolas seems to have more a more tactical approach and is very war skilled. Will tends to rely on street smarts and what the situation gives him to work with. Either way......whoever wins will have the pleasure of a reward:....ME!

Before the end of the final movie, I'd have handed it to Legolas--evenly matched in skill, the elf could eventually wear the human being down with superior stamina. After the last movie, I'd have to give it to Will Turner. He's fully immortal, whereas Legolas is only semi-immortal, and capable of being killed.

Although Will is Heartlessly Immortal I'm sure Legolas before going on the venture would consult Gandalf the white. Gandalf would send out a party of hobbits, dwarves etc on a quest to get the key and the chest. This would make the match more even. BUT Will is in full command of his ship the black pearl. Its Doubtful that Legolas could command a fighting ship. Legolas upon hearing the sea and boarding ship would not be able to resist sailing west to Valinor.

If it was close-range, therefore using swords, probably Will. If longer range, Legolas would win with his supremely awesome bow-and-arrow-ness.

I don't know; Legolas is clearly superior with bows and arrows, though I have seen him use a sword occasionally. [In the movies, anyway, can't remember if it mentioned him sometimes using a sword in the books]
