They were both in Ang Lee's "The Ice Storm" before either were in their famous franchises (Wood in LOTR, Maguire as Spider-Man). I would have to say, however, if they were battling and Wood were Frodo to Maguire's Sidey, that Spidey would win. Frodo has powerful friends, but himself is not PHYSICALLY powerful. So I would have to say that Frodo would be defeated by Spider-Man. As actors, I might give a slight edge to Wood because he's younger, and yet he's accomplished a lot despite his age.
