The Hobbits Thorin Speaks

Found his answer to the first question quite interesting, actually found all of his answers quite interesting Tongue

Oh Joy! [In reply to] Can't Post

so Boyens is still frantically writing the script for the pick-ups? Angelic

Seriously, it's interesting, as you say, about the comments RA says he's been getting over the difference between Book and Movie Thorin. Great that he's answering them so politely... Smile

I'd have been snarling at people about it a long time before now Evil

But then I've also been known to take whole chunks out of people who annoy me or at least my kitties do Angelic

Thank you for posting that. [In reply to] Can't Post

Agree with your sentiments – and am trying to avoid snarling. I don't have anything like your gorgeous kitties, though a close member of my family has an assortment of dogs and fierce parrots.

I hope Thorin is not made completely unsympathetic, though…

Great interview [In reply to] Can't Post

Love how films 2 and 3 will be much darker, ala TTT and ROTK. Really enjoy Richard Armitage, and I actually picture Thorin as the film portrays him, where as before I really couldn't put a face to him other than he looked like an old dwarf.

It'll be interesting [In reply to] Can't Post

to see how they handle Thorins descent into madness, I'm sure RA will be able to pull it off though.

*grins* well if my kitties don't get them, there's always my assortment of pies/snowballs/rotten fruit to throw around Angelic

Really wish we could bring back the "glug" game Evil

Which browser are you using? [In reply to] Can't Post

Someone else I know tried to watch it in Firefox and couldn't, but switched to Safari and had no problems and I've watched it in Chrome with no problems.

Thanks Kel!!!!! [In reply to] Can't Post

"Forgiveness all wrapped in rage.." Nice phrasing. Thanks Kel for keeping these coming! I give him credit for intelligently answering the same questions over and over.

Thank you for this again! [In reply to] Can't Post

I always love watching RA's interviews! Besides the fact that he's extremely watchable (heh heh), he is always so intelligent and interesting in his responses. I hope we won't come to detest his Thorin so much that his 'redemption' will be a small thing. (Actually I'm hoping that we will see his turn-around well before his end, so his end will be that much greater a loss.) In any case, I'm confident RA will pull it off very well indeed.

more Boyens made up nonsense Crazy WONDERFUL! Unsure

Funny how Armitage admits that his vision of Thorin was different than the one he is portraying, I do guess an actor has to make the best of the material he is given to work with.Angelic

that they put that scene there.
Let's hope we see more of the Rings, more of their story, more of their powers and the way they work.
