‘As they came to the gates Cirdan the Shipwright came forth to greet them. Very tall he was, and his beard was long, and we was grey and old, save that his eyes were keen as stars; and he looked at them and bowed, and said ‘All is now ready.’

Treebeard, of course! [In reply to] Can't Post

Don't be hasty, he'd saySmile

'What are we holding on to, Sam?'
'There's good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for!'

'I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!'

Treebeard's is the most impressive and would take the longest to shave off [In reply to] Can't Post

Cirdan's is impressive in that he's an Elf, probably about the length of Saruman's (in my mind). In terms of length Gandalf, Radagast and Gimli are pretty hard to seperate, Saruman's being a bit shorter, and Thorin's smaller beard coming dead last.Unimpressed

"Radagast is, of course, a worthy wizard, a master of shapes and changes of hue, and he has much lore of herbs and beasts, and birds are especially his friends."-Gandalf, The Lord of the Rings.

Treebeard [In reply to] Can't Post

I would have to pick Treebeard for both I mean Treebeard has beard in his name and it's made of wood so it would take forever to shave or more chop down.
