Personally, I think I missed the first three because I've been off on adventures with Gandalf since I was 8

Plus I want my worm ride on Arrakis. Will wait in the hall with my pack, Gandalf.

You know what would be a mind-blowing 50th birthday present? Have 13 people dress as dwarves, and knock on that person's door... I did start on an adventure when I turned 50. I decided to be brave and daring, and make that first post, and hit that "reply" button...and I've loved this adventure ever since.

but I suppose I would be he! In girly form, though... In reality there's no way I'd get 13 of my friends and family to play the role of Dwarves - I'd have to import TORNsibs to do it!

I actually hoped for the first two when I was younger. Used to pretend to fly on a broom and gives socks to elves. I also sat in my Mother's cupboard hoping that I would fall through it and land in snow. Still waiting for Gandalf.
