He seems like the kind of elf that stays close to home. [In reply to] Can't Post

So I would imagine he would only come up if it was a scene back at Rivendell.

My thought as well. [In reply to] Can't Post

I thought the character was a rather timid sort of person but then again, he was having to tell the Boss their guests had trashed their rooms and snuck out without anyone noticing. Maybe Elrond is a cranky employer...Tongue

hmmm [In reply to] Can't Post

well yes but was hoping we'd see him in the battle of five armies, I know he's a Rivendell elf not a Mirkwood elf but it wouldn't be the first time an elf was in the wrong place would it?

According to IMdB [In reply to] Can't Post

He's listed for TABA. So I'm guessing that he will show up at some point in the last movie.

Makes sense, if Bilbo goes back through Rivendell. [In reply to] Can't Post

good point [In reply to] Can't Post

an excellent point however I was just hoping they would end by cutting out to old bilbo reminiscing you know end it how they started it, and not go on a tad too much like they did in ROTK, anyway will be good to see him back though even if it isn't in a battle scene.

Would make sense [In reply to] Can't Post

to see him again in Rivendell in TABA, assuming we see Bilbo stop there on his way home.

I personally want to see him pull out a ukelele and break into a rousing rendition of "Tra la la lalley"...such a waste not to see that elf singing!

Maybe Flight of the Conchords could update their smash hit "Frodo, Don't Wear the Ring" to "Bilbo, Don't Wear the Ring" for this trilogy.

Time for a serious contribution from me [In reply to] Can't Post

Frodo, don't wear the ring...

Warning: Ever so slightly dodgy language if you don't like that kind of thing
