Everything about him is just about perfect. Then everyone but Thorin, Fili, Kili, and Ori, who are at the bottom.

I would probably say Thorin Balin Gimli Dwalin The rest, at this point in time. They weren't really given enough character to get a lot of likes yet.

Especially as Thorin and Balin are really the one ones who had fairly extensive dialogue and screen time. 1.Thorin(don't necessarily like him the best but he has good qualities and the most interesting storyline) 2. Kili(I do like him best, his personality is wonderful and his storyline appears to have great potential) 3. Balin(want to adopt him as my honorary dwarf granddad) 4. Bofur 5. Dwalin 6. Dori 7. Fili 8. Bifur 9. Bombur 10.Oin 11.Gloin 12.Nori 13.Ori

I took the survey (mentioned elsewhere on this forum) and one of the questions was "which character do you most identify with?" I'm female, born the same year LOTR was, and The Hobbit is full of males. OK, Galadriel, but she hardly counts, she's a Goddess, and I can't touch that. I also prefer the epic scope of LOTR (book) to (book) Hobbit. And I prefer Elves. And I was in love with Legolas when Orlando Bloom was in diapers. So here we are with the Hobbit... and a bunch of... Dwarves. WETA has made me fall in love with Dwarves. &$&^%$&%&$^%$!!! Oscars, please. I thought about that favorite thing: Bilbo: regular guy, goes on adventure, learns stuff, grows... Ori, art and stuff... Thorin &Co are Majestic... Balin is a perfect design (someone please please please make a plushy). I live in York County where we make Harleys, and lots of guys look like Dwalin. I think Dori is my mother. etc.etc.etc. Dude with an axe in his head... starfish hair dude... they're all great. But... Bofur... it's Bofur. Maybe it's the hat. Or the grin. Or the twinkle in the eye. Or... he is, partly, an archetype I relate to (and apparently, so do about nine gazillion fangirls who are half the actor's age)... he's a bit Raven, and a bit Magical Child. Caroline Myss says of that: "The mature personality of the Child archetype nurtures that part of us that yearns to be lighthearted and innocent, expecting the wonders of tomorrow, regardless of age. This part of our nature contributes greatly to our ability to sense playfulness in our lives, balancing the seriousness of adult responsibilities. The balanced Child is a delight to be around because the energy that flows from this part of our personality is positively infectious and brings out the best in others, as well as in us." Yup, that's it... if you're scratching your head, you can read more here... I like to throw words onto a page, or six... http://swordwhale.tumblr.com/post/42779520646/an-elf-and-a-dwarf-walk-into-a-meade-hall-and-find
Go outside and play...

1. Thorin 2. Balin 3. Dwalin 4. Bofur I love all the other Dwarves so far, apart from perhaps Kili because he looks a bit too human – and I am very apprehensive about how they are going to handle him in the next films. I really, really don't want to see any romance, or made-up characters that are not in the book, or idiotic Legolas-type antics in the film (skateboarding, CGIing up some giant whatever). And it would actually be rather ridiculous to see a 4ft-tall Dwarf having a romantic interlude with a 6ft-tall Elf...
