In the Silmarillion it is said that it is a custom for dwarves to wear war-masks to terrify their opponents.
Will this appear in BOFA ? It would be so cool to have Dain with a dragon helmet for example rather than the mohawk and the pig mount.
Thoughts ?

The dwarves of Erebor had masks, and it's suggested (save Dain) that the Iron Hill dwarves will have armor of a similar design. In a perfect world Dain would wear a mask perhaps that would let his Mohawk pop out!

It's possible they might dig out the old dragon masks from the elder days. The masks we've seen so far were mostly Erebor, so the Iron Hills may have different equipment and a different look altogether.

that armour will probably be Thorin and company's gear and Dain and the Iron Hills dwarves will have different armour...how different I do not know of course...but if similar to the Erebor i can imagine Dain's standing out as different even from the rest of his crew.

I think its a chance that shouldn't be missed. I can imagine Dwalin getting totally kitted out from the dragon horde seeing as he won't have a mohawk any time soon :)

Davy Jones could've been Bilbo...I mean he was a Brit with a sense for adventure, singing & dancing. And think of the costs it would've save with forced perspective: he was ACTUALLY 5'3. He also hung out with a grumpy tall dude in a hat (Mike Nesmith.) While we're at it let's just have Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork as Merry & Pippin.
