Say what you want about Peter Jackson as a director, but he's probably the most kindest, warmest, and the most open-minded film-maker out there. I cannot think of anyone in modern time who has devoted so much time for the fans, with such politeness (Christopher Tolkien:take notes! ) Sir Ian's short well-wishes on the TV at the end of this video-blog was wonderful as well.
The greatest adventure is what lies ahead.

i gotta agree with you. I will be forever grateful for LOTR and him taking fans along for the ride throughout production. Maybe i'll like Hobbit better the 2nd time around.
