Hobbit fan club?

Does anyone know if there will be a Hobbit fan club similar to the way they did it with Lord of the Rings? They charged around $40 for one year, $70 for two years and $100 for three years, and you got your name in the credits at the end of the movies. That would be really cool if they did it again, definitely worth it in my opinion.

haven't heard about it yet though. I remember joining a fan club when Bakshi's Lord of the Rings came out (1980?), I wonder if it's still around :)

Hence the I just remembered this thread from a month ago and thought entmaiden in particular had a reasonable explanation why it is unlikely. Let's all hope otherwise.

Never heard of a Hobbit(film) fan club so far. But 40$ a year? that seems expensive... Surely the LOTR fan club at that time must had proposed something more with the membership than just ''being a member'' .
