I thought it was Tuesday with Martin Freeman. Hmm...I'm misremembering things, but that's nothing new
I loved the film clips - both the one between Gandalf and Bilbo (Monday with Sir Ian), and Bilbo and Gollum. They really give me hope for the films. The more action oriented clips they show in advertisements on TV haven't wowed me, but I really love these quieter moments.
Anyway, it was a great week!
BTW, did you see the thread "Colbert out-Tolkiened Boyens?" lower down on this page?

was so great! His interview with Peter (the last show of the series) had even Peter giggling a couple of times :D
The Today Show (a morning news program) had 2 days with Ann Curry (a correspondent) over in NZ just before the premier doing a great, long interview and set/site location visits on Wednesday, then on a show called Rock Center where they had more of the interview. He showed her how to do the scale shots where she wore Gandalf's hat and he was hobbit size. Lots of giggles there, too! Then on Thursday's Today Show, she sat with some of the cast (Elijah. Richard A., Andy, Martin, and Hugo) for some talk.
This week is going to be chock-full of great interviews :D
I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
