That's definitely our first glimps of Azog, oh you better believe it. Apparently we dont actually see Bolg in AUJ. It's a shame because he's done with real costume/makeup and I was looking forward to seeing weta workshop show of their skills. Azog looks great though. It's all looking pretty darn good. I really want to like this movie. Fingers crossed!!!

Cate Blanchett called Azog a "terrifying design" and some reviewers already said that Azog is one of the reasons the movie will be released with a PG 13 rating... this giant orc in this spot looks great but not that special. He looks like a troll-orc-hybrid and not that terrifying. Especially if you compare him to the designs of Bolg or the Great Goblin. I think it is just a giant orc fighting Thorin but not Azog.
