Now I hope THAT'S the official poster. Looks amazing, the best we've got thus far, with Bilbo/Sting coming in second. And it's got a FotR vibe to it, as well. I think we'll see this poster roll out either tomorrow or Tuesday (English versions).

that gollum is from one of the first released pics...bilbo reminds me too much of frodo...the dwarves...uck..and thorin ..i would have thought they created original poses and images for the official poster.

It is almost completely parallel to the FOTR one! Just compare them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings:_The_Fellowship_of_the_Ring
Bilbo corresponds with Frodo. Gandalf and Gollum correspond with Aragorn and Arwen. Thorin = Gandalf and Galadriel = Galadriel. The three trolls correspond with the three other hobbits. Radagast corresponds with BLG. And the dwarves are EXACTLY where the nazgul are in the FOTR poster!
SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope they make this the official poster...or at least make an english print.
The double Thorin is sloppy... so replace big Thorin with Elrond! or remove Thorin from the group. Then it'll be perfect!!

And one is fairly small with the group of dwarves. Think about it, he's probably the third biggest character in the movies so he deserves to be featured with Bilbo and Gandalf. But also, what is a group shot of Thorin and Company without Thorin? Thus, I think it makes sense to use him twice.
